Elizabeth Moran, M.D.
A native Charlottean, Dr. Moran graduated from Charlotte Country Day School and pursued her undergraduate studies at Duke University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000. She then went on to medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, earning her MD in 2004.
Dr. Moran returned to Charlotte to complete her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center in 2008, where she was elected Chief Resident and awarded numerous accolades. During residency, Dr. Moran received intensive training in high-risk obstetrics and complicated gynecologic issues, including infertility, gynecologic oncology, and minimally invasive surgery.
Upon completion of her residency at Carolinas Healthcare System, Dr. Moran worked in a fast paced OB/GYN hospital affiliated practice where she was privileged to serve thousands of patients in all walks of life. She is dedicated to excellence in OB/GYN care with a personalized touch.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Moran enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and loves travel, food, and wine. She is past President-elect of the Mecklenburg County Medical Society and is a member of the Mint Museum Auxiliary.
Dr. Moran has been honored annually by Charlotte Magazine as a Top Doctor in Charlotte since 2010.
